The Apprentice is back!

by Robert Hunt on March 26, 2009

Arguably the best business programme on the box returned last night. If you missed it then don’t worry as the scenario is as before, with the contestants scaling the dizzy heights of incompetence.

First to get the bullet was business strategist and lawyer Anita Shah, though really everyone was lucky to escape Sir Alan’s harsh words.

The challenge was simple – set up a cleaning company and make a profit. While both teams did make money, neither seemed to take into account the fact that the more they spent on start-up equipment the more money they would need to earn.

If none of the candidates – who claim to have fantastic business brains – failed to grasp that basic element of business then there should be some fireworks as the series progresses!
