When the going gets tough…

by Robert Hunt on April 22, 2009

“When the going gets tough is not the time to cut back on training. It is, though, the time to take a good look at your training budget and ensure that it is being invested effectively, providing a good return on your investment.”

This is the opening paragraph of a Fuse Learning article which appears in this week’s Daily Telegraph Business Club newsletter.

The article highlights the call from influential business leaders and from politicians to resist the temptation to cut training budgets in the recession. It also explains briefly that we work with clients to help them understand how specific training and development will add value to their organisation, enabling them to calculate their true return on investment in training.
