Another Call for More Employee Engagement

by Robert Hunt on February 4, 2010

Employee engagement seems to be one of the buzz phrases of the moment. Latest to join in the call for more of it is Acas, the employment relations service.

It says it is encouraging UK businesses to prepare for the potential economic up-turn by focusing on employee engagement.

It has published a discussion paper that highlights simple procedures that can increase employee engagement in the workplace, improve staff retention, increase morale and encourage greater productivity.

All good stuff, especially with many employers more intent on shedding staff than engaging with them.
